Managing Director, Tax Services
James serves as Managing Director of Tax Services and is based in the Arlington, Virginia location. He works closely with clients on tax compliance and planning for both personal and business matters, collaborating across Evermay Tax’s teams to deliver an integrated service experience.
My Professional Background
Before joining Evermay Tax, I spent 22 years with one of the top 10 national accounting firms, including nearly a decade as a partner. My experience includes tax compliance and planning for closely held businesses and high-net-worth individuals, as well as developing and leading professional training programs. I hold a BBA in Accounting and a M.S. of Accounting from The College of William & Mary.
My Personal Life
I live in Alexandria with my wife, Courtney, our son, and our cat, Banana. Outside of work, I enjoy cooking, reading, and spending time with my family.
