Joe serves as Managing Director of Tax Services, providing leadership, oversight, and strategic direction for Evermay Tax. He is deeply committed to delivering a high standard of client service while fostering collaboration and professional development across the firm.
My Professional Background
Prior to Evermay, I was a partner and co-founder of Novotny, Larash, Venters & Wolf, LLC, a firm with roots dating back to 1984. I bring more than forty years of experience across tax, accounting, financial planning, and advisory services for individuals, estates and trusts, and businesses of varying sizes. I am a graduate of the University of Maryland and have served on federal and state tax committees of the MACPA , as well as on educational and nonprofit boards.
My Personal Life
My wife, Lisa, and I have lived in Crofton, Maryland for most of our lives, where we raised our children, Drew and Felicia. Outside of work, I enjoy golfing, spending time at the beach, and cheering on the Baltimore Orioles and Ravens.
