Lee Ann Donaldson, CPA

Lee Ann leads Evermay Tax’s Business Advisory Services, working closely with small- and mid-sized businesses as a strategic financial partner. She is passionate about building strong finance functions that allow business owners to focus on growth and long-term success.

My Professional Background

I began my career in public accounting, gaining experience in tax, audit, and write-up work before moving into industry as a controller for the U.S. subsidiary of a global medical and safety technology company. I later built my own fractional controller practice, serving businesses in construction, nonprofit, and franchise environments. Prior to joining Evermay Tax, I spent a decade as Director of Accounting for a leading medical practice in Northern Virginia. 

My Personal Life

I am an empty nester who enjoys hiking, paddle boarding, gardening, and spending time outdoors. I also love live music and frequently attend concerts ranging from local venues to larger shows.
